Bo’s experience as a practitioner of complementary and alternative medicine

Bo (XiaoBo) Pan uses a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element acupuncture in the treatments, with additional emphasis on the channel palpation to detect channels with abnormal changes and energy blocks. She qualified at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and holds a BSc (Hons) and a licence to practice acupuncture (LicAc). She is a member of British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), fully insured, and practice in Oxford, Reading and Guildford. She has taken further study trips to China and online acupuncture and Chinese Medicine courses from master practitioners in China.

Bo is a volunteer acupuncturist at the Fountain Centre (FC), a complementary cancer care therapy centre in the Royal Surrey Hospital, where various therapies were offered to support the cancer patients and their carers, for example to relieve side effects such as tiredness, hot flushes, nausea, pain, dry mouth, constipation and depression etc. from the surgery, chemo therapy or radio therapy. She also volunteers at My Cancer My Choices  (MCMC) at Berkshire Cancer Centre.

As well as running a weekly community clinic at Dean Court Community Centre on Mondays, Bo sees one-to-one patients at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading and The Fountain Centre in Guildford. To find out  more about this service, visit her website or email: [email protected]
